Extra Spicy Chili Con Carne
Chili Con Carne is the perfect winter weather dish! We will make sure you stay warm with this extra spicy recipe!
2lbs ground beef
1-2 tsp Elijah's Xtreme Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce
2 tbs olive oil
1 white onion
3 garlic cloves
2 tbs ground cumin
2 tsp paprika (smoked)
2 tbs tomato paste
28oz can of crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup beef stock
14oz can kidney beans (drained)
Salt & pepper
1 Bag of white rice (optional)
1/2 Lime (optional)
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until golden (2 to 3 minutes). Stir in the garlic and fry another minute.
Add ground beef; fry until fully cooked and no pink shows (about 10 minutes).
Add the cumin, oregano, paprika, Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce, and tomato paste and cook, Stir for about 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes, beef stock, and beans. Season to taste with salt and pepper, stir in the parsley, and bring to a simmer over low heat.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chili thickens slightly, about 1 to 1.5 hours. Squeeze a little lime juice over the top and stir in when finished for a fresh zest feel!
Boil Rice/ serve over rice (optional)
Still not hot enough? Pour a little more Ghost Pepper Sauce in there!
