Hamburger soup is just like eating a hamburger but without the bun! It's a healthier and heartier version of a hamburger plus it's spicy so it's perfect!
Hamburger Soup Recipe | Elijah's Xtreme
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 large carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1-2 Tbsp Elijah's Xtreme Regret Hot Sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
28oz can diced tomatoes
8 cups beef broth
2 large gold potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp parsley, chopped for garnish
Preheat a dutch oven or soup pot with olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery to the pot. Saute until veggies are softened.
Add the ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook until turns brown.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, garlic, tomato paste, Elijah’s Xtreme Regret Hot Sauce, potatoes, and beef broth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Bring soup to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Season to taste.
Serve with parsley and enjoy!
