Ingredients
2 lbs ribeye (can also use: skirt, flank, or flat iron steak)
2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp minced garlic
1/2 lb mushrooms, quartered
1 green bell pepper
1 large white onion
1 red bell pepper
Elijah's Xtreme Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated parmesan
Directions
Slice your steak of choice as thin as possible. Generously season with salt and pepper.
In a medium skillet add mushrooms to a dry pan over medium-high heat. Sprinkle 1 tsp salt and cook until golden brown. Add in 2 Tbsp olive oil along with onions and peppers and continue cooking until vegetables begin to brown (About 3-5 minutes).
Remove vegetables from the hot pan and add 1 Tbsp olive oil. Heat up oil until smoking and add steak in small batches. Allow to cook for 1-2 minutes per side. Continue until all steak is cooked and add vegetables back into the skillet along with garlic.
Remove dish from heat, sprinkle Elijah’s Xtreme Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce then top with mozzarella and parmesan. With broiler set to low, place prepared skillet in oven until cheese is completely melted. Top with green onions.
Serve on a hoagie roll or just eat it right out of the skillet and enjoy!
