Ingredients
8 oz mushrooms, trimmed and finely chopped
1 onion, peeled and chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 Tbsp oil
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp Elijah's Xtreme Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce
4 Tbsp Ketchup
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 lb ground turkey
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly oil a baking sheet lined with foil.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-low heat. Add onion and cook for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minutes. Stir in mushrooms, ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp pepper. Cook for 10 more minutes.
Transfer skillet items into a bowl, then stir in the Worcestershire sauce, 1 ½ tbsp ketchup and 1 ½ Tbsp Elijah’s Xtreme Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce. Set aside.
Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl. Stir breadcrumb mix and add eggs into the mushrooms and onions, then mix together both mixes. Gently mix in turkey, ¼ tsp salt and a ¼ tsp pepper.
Form the meatloaf on baking sheet. Spread the rest of the ketchup and Elijah’s Xtreme Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce on top.
Bake until center of meatloaf reaches 170F, about 50 minutes.
