Elijah's Xtreme
Ingredients
Russet potatoes
3+ slices of bacon
1 red onion
1/2 stick butter
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Basil
Chicken stock
Heavy cream
Shredded cheese
Elijah's Xtreme Original Roasted Pepper Hot Sauce
Directions
Peel potatoes and then cut them into cubes.
Put a few slices of bacon in a skillet and fry them up. Drain the grease into a bowl and set aside.
Cut purple onions and throw them in a large pot with the butter. Once onions are browned a little, pour in flour, salt, pepper, basil and slowly whisk in chicken stock.
Add potatoes, heavy cream, and bacon grease. Let simmer until thickened and potatoes are cooked.
Pour in a bowl, add cheese, bacon bits, and Elijah’s Xtreme Original Roasted Pepper Hot Sauce. Stir until cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy!
