I am a food purist. I like my french fries with salt never catsup. I like my steak with salt and pepper never steak sauce. There are very few additives I like to put on things that take away from the base flavor of the original ingredient. I love hot sauces, I have never liked hot sauces mixed with fruit, maybe because Mango is in everything. I love mangoes but not in hot sauces or sushi. So I gave this weird one a try because it has fruit but less sweet fruit. Black cherries, cranberries and then bourbon. OK sounds good to me I’ll give it a shot. My first taste I was unsure, shook it up tasted it again shook it up tasted it again and now I have to say half the bottle is gone not covering any type of food but purely from a spoon. I drank half this damn bottle off of a spoon. I think you did good Elijah, this is an excellent hot sauce that gives you a round well-balanced sweet/savory flavor profile and then some real heat sets in. I like it.

This is by far my favorite hot sauce. I'll definitely keep buying as long as you keep making it. Love the taste and has a nice kick to go along with it. I give it 5 thumbs up.

Just a note for some people - don't want to rate it lower since it's primarily based off preference. This sauce is too sweet, not the biggest fan of the cranberries. If you're looking for a more traditional tasting hot sauce definitely go with the ghost pepper sauce. The burn was amazing though .. wish it could be replicated in other sauces, it has a gradual build up vs. the near instant burn of the ghost pepper. If you're looking for a more sweet hot sauce this is for you, if you're looking for a traditional sauce go with the ghost pepper sauce.
